Toby ~ 10 month old puppy
Adopted December 2007 :)
Toby is a very active "teenage" puppy, on the small side  ~ about 15 pounds.   He was purchased from a breeder, but he was too much of a handful for the new owners, so at 10 months he has come to us.

He is crate trained & pretty reliably house trained [remember, he's still a baby]... goes to the door and scratches on it to go out ... pretty smart !!!      Knows some commands..... plays and fetches toys all day.    As with many shelties, he can be a little mouthy [that's not the same as nipping] ~ and because he's a puppy, he can get wired & have a case of "the frappies" ...... you know ...... those wild moments like kids on a sugar high ?   He likes other dogs and lived with cats,  but we feel he would do better in a home with NO cats because he thinks it's ok to chase them  [well, they're like fast moving toys for fetching... right ????].

He is cute as a button    ~  affectionate, follows you everywhere.   We feel it would be best to place him in a home that knows the breed.   A fence yard is preferred, but not an absolute requirement.

**  children aged 12+ due to his activity level.

ah..... what a life :)
