Hi guys,
I realized that it's been 6 months since I updated you on Raleigh! Where does the time go?!? So I'll give you a quick update.
He loves his therapy dog work. We visit 2-3 nursing homes a month, plus many public relation events. He also loves his brother and his human dad. He is constantly by my husband's side. And that's OK with us, since his brother is very much a mama's boy. So we both have our own Sheltie!
Raleigh recently started agility training. He's only been training for about 6 weeks and he already knows most of the equipment, including the weaves. He's definitely a very smart boy. And those extra long legs come in handy for speed! I think we'll be giving the Border Collies a run for their money shortly!
As of now, we're still planning on making the trip to NJ for the Sheltie rescue picnic in October. It's on our calendar...so we'll see you there!

Pupdate October 6, 2008
Rolland is now Ralleigh ~ adopted by Jessica & Cooper [10 month old sheltie]. His new family is in eastern PA, about 30 mins from the Lehigh Valley and active in agility and therapy dog work. And....Ralleigh is the perfect age/size to be companion & playmate for "Coop"!
Accoring to Jessica, Ralleigh & Cooper haven't stopped playing since they got home! The house has become a combo NASCAR track/WWF ring. Hope to have more pictures & pupdates soon :)

Roland [or "Roley" for short] ~ 1 yr old tri-colored male ~ about 46 pounds [yes, he's a bigger boy]. Very sweet, loving, playful and full of the energy one would expect from a young sheltie. Unfortunately, his owners worked long hours and with the kids are in their teens ~ everyone in the house was too busy to spend time with poor Roley.
