Max

PUPDATE  APRIL 19TH    MAX HAS BEEN ADOPTED ..... YEAHHHHHH

Meet Max, a sweet and gentle senior.  Max is 14 and was dumped in a shelter by a man who literally walked into the shelter, handed the worker the dog and said 'this is Max, he's 14 and I don't want him anymore" and turned around and walked out.

The shelter said Max was one of the worse neglect cases they had ever seen.  He was filthy and matted and has very bad arthritis.

But the good news is all of Max' ailments are treatable and he has very nice bloodwork for a senior!   He has hypothyroidism, which is easily treatable with a medication that only costs a few dollars a month.  We began a good regimen to help his arthritis feel better.  The remainder of his coat will be shaved and we are going to start fresh!!!

Max is a doll, so sweet!!  He fast became a favorite at Noah's Ark and had the whole staff out to say good-bye to him - all hoping he'd be back for his check up before adoption so they could see him again!

Max walks nicely on a leash, is housetrained and has very nice manners!  He is doing wonderfully with his foster brother and sisters - very gentle with them as well   As his foster mom was writing this he was sitting next to her offering his paw.  He just wants someone to pet him and pay him attention.  The minute you do so, his tail starts wagging.  He holds no ill will for how he was treated.  He's a great guy!

Max needs a home where he will spoiled and loved for his golden years.  He still has a lot to give and will be forever grateful.

If you  have room at the your inn for this lovable guy, please give us a call!
