Lucky

Lucky came to rescue because his owners were moving to an apartment that would not allow pets ~ unfortunately, many of our shelties lose their families for that reason.

After getting over his initial shock/confusion over this change in his life, Lucky showed that he was the kissiest, snuggliest sheltie you could ever imagine.  As agile as a cat, he could spring easily from floor to top of the sofa in a single, graceful bound.   Was great with chasing toys, sometimes pouncing on them so they'd go up in the air for him to catch again.

At first he was intimidated by Buddy ~ our other foster ~ mainly due to Buddy's size and boisterous play style.   But after a few weeks, he started to join in the rucuous between Buddy & Sashi ~  so there were 3 shelties dashing around in games of tag.

Lucky went to a wonderful forever home ~ his new parents are with him all the time, so he'll get lots of love & attention.   We hope to see him at the next sheltie picnic ..... he'll definitely win prizes for the smallest and the kissiest shelties.
