Leo

February 2009

Attached is a picture of Leo (right) and our other dog [and Leo's new best friend], Cinnamon.

Leo is a little love bug!   We are so happy to have him with us.   He has so much love to share with everyone, as we do with him.  He plays all day long and has really hit it off with Cinnamon, our six-year-old female.  They play tug of war with a rope toy.  It is so cute.  Leo always lets Cinnamon win.  He is always quite the gentleman.

Leo turns out to be well trained.  He has not had any accidents in our house, although I understand that is why his previous family surrendered him.   We adore him and he fits right into our family as if he has always been here.  We can't be happier !!

We often find that the reason(s) given for a dog being surrendered are inaccurate or 'blown out of proportion'.   Dogs that were labeled 'not housebroken' are often 100% reliable in the right household,  shelties called "hyper barkers" have turned out to be just your typical sheltie ~ no more vocal than you'd expect from any self-respecting herding dog !!
