| Pupdate September 9, 2010 ~ Lassie has been adopted ..... yeah !!!
Hello - My name is Lassie and I am a 12 year old, neutered, very sweet older gentleman and I need a new home ASAP!!!
I was given up by the only family I knew because there were many problems in the home and because of them, I wasn't getting the care they say I need and deserve. No one was paying attention to me and some days I went from 7 in the morning until 10 at night without a walk or being fed. So even though I love my family and wanted to stay, they gave me up because they said I wasn't being treated right.
I'm a tiny guy - just about 14' and I weigh only 18lbs. I'm pretty healthy, but my hearing is almost gone. I am very scared right now and very skittish, so I need a very secure fenced yard while I'm getting used to all the new changes in my life.
I recently lost my animal friends (two collies and a cat), so I'd love it if you had a another sweet dog for me to become friendly with, but if not, that's ok too. I mostly just need a loving family who will take great care of me for the time I have left and spoil me with love and attention.
Children over 8 who can be gentle with me would be okay too!
