Anne ... aka  "Lady Anne"

My long term rescue Anne ...aka  "Lady Anne" has gone to the Rainbow Bridge.

She passed away apparently in her sleep early morning May 16, 2009.  I was sleeping down in the living room taking care of a pup and did not hear anything to make me get up so I would say she passed quietly.

We were lucky to get to know the real Anne.  She came into our liveswhen I boarded her for a new foster.  When I saw the extreme pain she was in, I knew I had to care for her ...so we did.

Anne had a lot of issues from her previouse life.  She was to be put to sleep by her owners, but rescue was able to "rescue her"....and did so in many ways.   I was able to help most of her issues.  Anne was originally named Lady, but the moment she came into my home ... she was Anne.  So for a long time I called her "Lady Anne" then Anne.   For me, the sad thing was Anne was a really good dog that had been ruined by her previous life.

Anne had to deal with a lot, but she was  happy, loving,  gave the best kisses and she loved car rides.  Everyone who saw her thought she was beautiful.

Greg and I will always miss her.
