~ Keiko & Lady ~

The sisters were rescued by PMcC from a back yard breeder in PA. Not sure of town. Born May 23, 2009.
They had been caged and when PMcC got them in November they could not walk as their muscles were atrophied for lack of any exercise! She said they inched along on the floors on their tummies. Keiko (originally called Treena) spent 5 days in hospital and Lady (originally called Sheena) 8 days. Both on IVs and caths. Both intensive care.
They are doing very well, very smart - sleeping right now. Keiko on left (pointy ears) - Lady to the right (changed what I was going to call her - she is such a little lady, so the name). Keiko means either precious or a blessing in Japanese. These babies are a blessing for me.
They are wonderful - playing with toys, eating, running to their pen (which is a fenced area within the large fenced back yard) and back into the house! Lots of kisses from them also. They are being spoiled with luxury bedding for their crates and loads of attention and heaps of love. Both eating, doing potty, playing and climbing on me with lots of kisses. We have about 16 inches of snow and will snow all day so they both used puppy papers to pee but missed a bit with poop. Close tho! This was really great as have them in kitchen and big pantry area. So they had to go to back door in the pantry for the papers.
Keiko is sleeping with her lion toy right now and Lady out like a light! They have toys piled between their daytime bed in the kitchen.
