Gizmo went to his foster home on November 1st ....

He greeted his 8 year old, 15 lb, couch-potato, alpha foster sister with the respect she commands
.
Attempted to ignore his 4 year old, 32 lb, high play-drive foster sister’s demands.
Repeatedly jumped into his foster Mom's lap for refuge while he assessed his almost frenzied foster sister’s play style.
By the end of the day, found his relative position in the pack to be right smack in the middle of his foster sisters size,   play drive and need to be close to foster Mom.
And finally, to accept his bed/crate at the foot of the bed with absolute serenity and let the cat walk by without comment.

bathed, groomed and totally handsome !!

Pup-date  November 3, 2007
Gizmo has been in his foster home for 3 days now and he’s absolutely MARVELOUS.  Smart, funny, playful, fully house trained, leash & crate trained, people and dog friendly, mildly curious about cats, enjoys lap time, rides well in the car and even enjoyed a walk through PetCo.  He’s a Velcro boy, so a full-time human companion would be ideal.  He gets along well with both his foster sisters.  Is also starting to demonstrate some friskiness that would probably be too much for small children, so we recommend that he not be in a home with kids under 9.

picture take about November 1st ~ cute little guy ~ can see some uncertainty in his eyes [big changes in his life]

Pup-date - November 10th

Gizmo’s been in his foster home for 9 days now.  Was taken to the vet's office for a weigh-in and he's only weighs 17 lbs, so he’s a little guy with a BIG coat .....he sure doesn’t look like he’s only about half Bryhn’s 32 lbs!
Gizmo and Bryhn have become best buds, love to share and play tug of war with their toys.  Gizmo has learned how to chase a ball (at first he thought the ChuckIt launcher was the toy!), and he and Bryhn are jumping/bouncing all over the yard together. When his foster mom views his "whole slide show", she's amazed at how much more comfortable he looks than in his first pics.  Now he knows he’s safe and there’s real eye contact  !!
