~ Chrissy ~

Adopted July 2008
........and is now "Krissy"

Gone too soon.........

Date: Wednesday, September 3, 2008, 4:29 PM

It is with heavy heart that I let everyone know some very sad news.   While waiting for his daughter to catch her school bus, Krissy saw a dog across the street, got excited and pulled the leash out of their hands..... she ran into the street and into the path of an oncoming bus.

She was killed instantly.  The driver kept going, not realizing he had hit anything.   People IN the bus saw what had happened & got him to stop.   For this to happen on a quiet neighborhood street points strongly to a driver going faster than he should ~ not paying attention ~ but responsible for picking up CHILDREN !!

The family is devastated, to say the least.

Chrissy is very sweet, but very SHY and takes time to get used to new things. Didn't have much exposure to people, places, new adventures in her 1st home and it takes her more time to adjust. All she needs is someone with patience and a kind heart ~ someone willing to take the time to help her become the sheltie she was meant to be.
