Charlie “Blue”

A 1-1/2 yr old blue merle ~ loving, kissy, sweet boy.     His play style [with other dogs] was typical sheltie ... herding, leg nipping, body blocking, wrestling.   However, he would get overly excited and too rough, so his play partner would respond with a harder nip to tell him so.    Charlie would then go on the offensive, and play could become a skirmish that would have to be broken up before either dog was hurt.    This is the reason his family could not keep him.  The other dog [spayed female] had been in their lives first and Charlie's "over the top" behavior was causing problems.  Usually opposite sex dogs do well together.   We knew that Charlie would have to be an "only furkid" in his next home.

Charlie was adopted by a wonderful family.   His "mom" was 10 yrs old at the time and absolutely bubbled with happiness over her new furkid.  His "grandparents" even sent announcements to all their friends.

We wish you all the best ~ and many many years together.
