| PUPDATE ~ JANUARY 12, 2010 ~ OUR BUDDY HAS BEEN ADOPTED .... YEAHHH!!!
BUDDY FROM MANAHAWKIN SHELTER [we're getting a lot of "Buddies"]
Buddy "From Manahawkin" is 5 years old and comes to us from a shelter in that area. He is a larger boy ~ about 18" at the shoulder.
He was surrendered for "skin problems" ~ his family could not afford vet care. Actually, it was a bad case of flea bite dermatitis. His skin has cleared up nicely and his coat looks beautiful [we're waiting for new pictures from his foster home].
He absolutely loves running around in the backyard, usually after the birds and the squirrels. He loves to cuddle & have his tummy rubbed and to go on his walks. He also loves to go for rides in the car and is a very good passenger.
As with so many shelties ~ he does not like the dreaded vacuum cleaner & will bark because of all that awful noise it makes.
